Account & data requests
MonteFlow accounts are created and administered by your school. This page explains how to ask for your account or your data to be deleted, corrected or exported — and which route gets you there fastest.
Who creates MonteFlow accounts
- Your school creates the account and invites you. The app has no sign-up — you cannot create an account inside it. If you run an educational company, you can purchase MonteFlow on monteflow.cloud; the account you buy with becomes the administrator account of your school.
- “Continue with Apple” and “Continue with Google” only sign you in to an account your school has already created. They do not create a new account.
- Your school decides who has access to MonteFlow and for how long.
Two kinds of data, two routes
Which route applies depends on what data your request concerns.
Your account
The record you sign in with: your name, e-mail address, role and sign-in method. ZUBEL.PRO is the controller of that record (Privacy Policy § 3), but your school administers the account under its contract with us — the school creates accounts and asks for them to be closed when someone leaves. The details given when purchasing MonteFlow on monteflow.cloud (name, e-mail address, billing data) are also ours as controller — for those, write to privacy@monteflow.cloud directly.
Data your school keeps in MonteFlow
Children’s records, observations, attendance, documents — everything the school enters into the platform. Your school is the controller of that data and ZUBEL.PRO is only its processor (Privacy Policy § 4 and the Data Processing Agreement). We act on the school’s instruction and cannot delete or release this data on our own.
How to ask for deletion
1. Ask your school first
This is the fastest route for every kind of request. The school administers accounts and can have yours closed, and it is the controller of the data kept about your child. Write to whoever handles MonteFlow at your school — usually the office or the school’s management.
Worth including: your full name, the name of the school, and the e-mail address you sign in with.
2. If you cannot reach your school
Write to privacy@monteflow.cloud with your full name, the school and the e-mail address you sign in with. We identify the school the account belongs to, delete the account record we control, and pass any request concerning the school’s own data to the school — supporting it as the Data Processing Agreement requires.
We answer without undue delay and no later than 30 days from receiving the request. In justified cases that period may be extended by a further 60 days, and we will tell you if that happens.
Please do not put health information or other sensitive details in the e-mail. We only need enough to find the account.
What happens to your data
- The account record is deleted and with it the ability to sign in. Accounts we control are kept for the lifetime of the account plus 30 days (Privacy Policy § 3).
- Records your school must keep by law — a pupil’s school documentation, for example — stay with the school for its own retention period. The school is their controller and can tell you which records those are and how long it has to keep them.
- Invoicing data, where it concerns a school’s representative, is kept for 5 years from the end of the calendar year, because tax law requires it.
- After deletion we still keep, as described in the Privacy Policy § 4: entries in the system event log recording that permissions were granted or data erased (10 years); backups, which expire within 90 days; and, for schools using the Compliance PL Mode, an archive of the school’s full data export for 90 days after its data is deleted — solely so it can be returned to the school.
- The full list of purposes, legal bases and retention periods is in the Privacy Policy.
Access, correction and export
The same two routes apply to every other right under the GDPR — access to your data, correcting it, exporting it, or objecting to processing. Ask your school first; if you cannot reach them, write to privacy@monteflow.cloud. The same response time applies.
Problems with the app
For anything that is not a data request — a bug, a sign-in problem, a question about how something works — write to support@monteflow.cloud. Please include the app version and build number shown under Settings → About, so we know exactly which version you are running.
